What you will do

• Ensure rapid containment, root cause analysis, and sustainable corrective actions for critical supplier-related field failures.
• Own end-to-end supplier technical performance with a focus on field reliability and risk mitigation across components and systems.
• Establish and govern a structured supplier technical maturity assessment framework aligned with industry and internal standards.
• Drive initiatives to improve process capability and reduce variation in critical electrical and mechanical characteristics.
• Strengthen integration between design engineering and supplier manufacturing using design-for-manufacturing and design-for-reliability principles.
• Lead structured problem-solving using FMEA, DMAIC, and DOE; develop and coach a high-performing team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in supplier technical development, quality leadership, manufacturing processes, and field failure resolution in an industrial environment (e.g., wind, aeronautical, energy).
• Proven senior leadership experience guiding technical teams and driving cross-functional initiatives across international stakeholders.
• Advanced knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), FMEA, DMAIC, and design of experiments (DOE).
• Solid understanding of complex manufacturing processes, validation methods, and relevant testing and certification standards.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
