Supplier Quality Engineer (Electronics)

Location: Blatna, Czech Republic, or Landshut, Germany. The role is based at a production location and includes supplier audits and willingness to travel.

Manufacturer of discrete semiconductors and passive electronic components for automotive, industrial, computing, consumer, telecommunications, military, aerospace, and medical applications.

What you will do

• Manage supplier quality for project-based and serial production.
• Qualify new suppliers, participate in supplier selection, and collaborate on specifications.
• Coordinate APQP activities and approve PPAP/PPA documentation.
• Resolve supplier claims and non-conformities using the 8D methodology.
• Identify and manage risks using FMEA, change management, and new-project processes.
• Plan and conduct supplier audits, monitor performance, and manage supplier development in collaboration with purchasing, production, development, and project management.

Requirements

• University or secondary education with an electrical engineering focus.
• Previous quality experience, ideally five years or at least three years in supplier quality assurance.
• Written and spoken Czech and English are required.
• Knowledge of quality tools, including 8D and FMEA.
• PC skills with Word, Excel, and Access.
• Independence, reliability, diligence, organizational skills, cooperation ability, a Group B driver's license, and willingness to travel.
