Supplier Quality Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Parsdorf, Bavaria, Germany; travel to supplier sites as required.

What you will do

• Plan and execute supplier qualification and approval activities.
• Conduct supplier, process, and capability audits, including source inspections at supplier facilities.
• Manage supplier scorecards, performance metrics, nonconformances, and corrective action processes.
• Review root cause analyses and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Support supplier selection, development, risk assessments, First Article Inspection, qualification, and industrialization activities.
• Monitor supplier quality trends, support incoming inspection investigations, and maintain audit and compliance records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, Product Assurance, or Quality Engineering.
• Experience with supplier qualification, supplier development, supplier performance management, audits, and process assessments.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis, corrective action systems, aerospace quality requirements, configuration control, traceability, and product conformity.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical requirements, with strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional proficiency in English is required; German language skills are advantageous.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of EN9100, ISO 9001, and aerospace quality management system requirements.
• German language skills.
