Salary: $200,000 – $230,000

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and coach a team of talented software engineers to foster growth and technical excellence.
• Champion AI-forward engineering practices, including prompting with context and critical review of AI-generated code.
• Drive execution of high-impact product initiatives in partnership with Product, Design, and Quality teams.
• Recruit and onboard world-class engineering talent.
• Provide clarity in scope and timelines while ensuring delivery of high-quality, testable, and secure code.
• Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to evolve platform architecture and technical strategy.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of experience in management or technical leadership.
• Must be based in New York City or able to work on a hybrid schedule (3 days/week in office).
• Strong technical background in modern web application development (React, Node.js, Ruby).
• Proven track record of building enterprise SaaS products at scale.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, etc.) and ability to coach others on their use.
