What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for the quantum orchestration platform, aligning project execution with the broader team roadmap.
• Drive architectural decisions for systems coordinating quantum workloads and managing experimental data.
• Productionize prototype code from Quantum Engineers into reliable, well-tested, and maintainable services.
• Mentor engineers across the team to raise the bar on code quality, design, and documentation.
• Deploy and support the production platform via on-call rotations and collaborate on CI/CD pipeline improvements.
• Represent the company's engineering work in customer engagements and the broader technical community.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with a track record of significant achievements.
• Proficiency with Python and SQL.
• Experience developing and operating software in Linux environments.
• Familiarity with Git, automated testing, and modern software development practices.
• Must be based in or be able to work from Boulder, CO or Austin, TX.

Nice to have

• Experience with Rust or C++.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and Terraform.
• Experience building frontend components using TypeScript and React.
• Experience with containerization technologies.
