What you will do
- Develop and maintain high-performance deformers, kinematics, and solvers for rigging and animation.
- Collaborate with artists and technical peers to ensure seamless interoperability across the creature ecosystem.
- Design and integrate bespoke software tools into the existing production pipeline.
- Participate in the full software development life-cycle using Agile methodologies.
- Communicate technical solutions effectively to non-technical artists and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python programming.
- Experience with geometry processing, deformable objects, or kinematics.
- Proven experience developing plug-ins using Maya or Houdini SDK.
Nice to have
- Experience in crowds, rigging, CFX, animation, or motion-capture development.
- GPU programming experience.
