What you will do

• Investigate and evaluate property loss claims of moderate-to-high severity both in the field and virtually.
• Conduct physical and virtual inspections of damaged dwellings, other structures, and personal property.
• Determine repair scopes and prepare repair bids using the Xactimate estimating system.
• Negotiate agreed repair costs with insureds and contractors to bring claims to conclusion.
• Thoroughly investigate and identify the cause of loss with the help of experts.
• Manage all correspondence to ensure the claim file remains regulatory compliant.

Requirements

• 6+ years of related professional experience.
• 4+ years of claims experience, preferably emphasizing homeowner claims.
• High school diploma (a Bachelor's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience).
• Proficiency with the Xactimate repair estimating system.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Authorization to work indefinitely in the US without visa sponsorship.
