What you will do

  • Supervise and mentor a team of property claims adjusters across various levels of complexity.
  • Monitor claims handling to ensure compliance with company guidelines and client expectations.
  • Review high-exposure or complex property claims and provide strategic guidance on resolution.
  • Approve claim settlements within assigned authority limits.
  • Track operational performance metrics including cycle time, quality assurance, and productivity.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients regarding service delivery and performance trends.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States
  • 5+ years of property claims handling experience.
  • Adjuster licensing as required by jurisdiction.
  • Strong knowledge of property claims investigation, evaluation, and settlement practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience handling commercial or large-loss property claims.
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Proficiency with Xactimate.
  • Industry designations such as AIC or CPCU.
