What you will do

• Contact prospective clients to introduce insurance products and policies.
• Meet with potential clients to evaluate existing coverage and financial needs.
• Guide clients in selecting and modifying insurance policies to meet their specific requirements.
• Build and customize insurance packages for individual clients.
• Process policy renewals and assist clients with the insurance claims filing process.
• Maintain accurate print and electronic records of client files.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be licensed to sell insurance in applicable states.
• Excellent interpersonal and sales skills with the ability to identify prospective clients.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Ability to work at a desk and on a computer for prolonged periods.

Nice to have

• 2 years of related insurance experience.
• Proficiency in Vertafore systems.
