Labor Relations Generalist

What you will do

• Build and maintain relationships with operations teams, union leadership, and employees.
• Administer provisions of labor agreements and counsel management on interpretation.
• Investigate grievances and assist management with resolution.
• Conduct and advise on corrective discipline, including coaching and progressive discipline.
• Participate in local negotiations and maintain pertinent labor relations records.
• Support EEOC, NLRB, and other regulatory inquiries and investigations.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-3 years of labor experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 4-year degree (BA or BS) in an applicable area or equivalent education and experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility and resolve conflicting interests.
• Proficiency in Windows environment (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills to manage high workloads and multitask.
• Ability to maintain compliance with federal and state employment regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP or other HRIS systems.
• ADP Payroll processing experience.
• Strong background in labor relations.
