What you will do

• Manage daily HR operations and employee records for the Sydney studio.
• Oversee employee contracts, onboarding, offboarding, and probation processes.
• Handle payroll inputs, leave management, and HRIS administration.
• Act as the primary point of contact for employee queries regarding policies and workplace matters.
• Support performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
• Ensure strict compliance with Australian employment legislation and Fair Work requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or HRBP role.
• Strong understanding of Australian employment law and HR compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with global teams.

Nice to have

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
• Knowledge of visa and work rights processes in Australia.
• Experience within media, technology, VFX, animation, or creative industries.
