End User Services Intern (Fintech)

TL;DR

End User Services Intern (Fintech): Providing first-level technical support for employees and contingent workers with an accent on hardware and software troubleshooting. Focus on device deployment, account management via Active Directory, and maintaining enterprise IT infrastructure.

Location: Must be based in Toronto, Canada; role requires being in-office five (5) days a week

Salary: $23 - $25 per hour

What you will do

• Provide first-level support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues based on calls and tickets.
• Deploy and set up end-user devices including laptops, mobile devices, docking stations, and monitors.
• Manage account tasks such as password resets, access provisioning, and MFA troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with IT teams on application deployments and hardware refresh cycles.
• Audit and update technical documentation to reflect current processes and best practices.
• Utilize enterprise tools including Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, and Active Directory.

Requirements

• Currently completing an undergraduate degree in Computer Systems, Networking, or Software Support from a credible Canadian institution.
• Proficiency in both Windows and MacOS desktop technologies.
• Demonstrated experience in customer service or technical support.
• Strong analytical skills for root cause identification and implementation of remedial actions.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work onsite in Toronto 5 days per week.
