What you will do

  • Develop and grow sales within an assigned territory through prospecting and active new business development.
  • Use a consultative selling approach to build long-term, value-based relationships at all account levels.
  • Manage the sales pipeline with a focus on customer retention and increasing overall satisfaction.
  • Provide technical support and consultancy services to increase the company's value to the customer.
  • Set pricing and service levels, coordinating customer quotations with local branches.
  • Collaborate with local Sales, Purchasing, and Operations to ensure proper inventory levels.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in a sales position with a proven track record of achieving targets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Chemistry (preferred).
  • Broad knowledge of waste management services involving chemical handling and disposal of hazardous/non-hazardous waste.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop successful business relationships.
  • Capability to work independently and commit to 50-75% travel within the territory.
  • Must be based in Charlotte, NC
