TL;DR

Team Leader (Legal): Leading a team of Claims Handlers within the Pre-Litigated Motor Claims department with an accent on operational performance, service quality, and team development. Focus on driving efficiency, managing claim allocations, and fostering a high-performing culture through coaching and continuous improvement initiatives.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Liverpool

What you will do

  • Drive team performance to ensure operational targets and service measures are achieved.
  • Review and allocate new claims based on complexity and value.
  • Conduct regular one-to-one meetings to maximize performance and engagement.
  • Identify training needs and support the professional development of team members.
  • Support reporting, analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other Team Leaders to share best practices and drive overall success.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Team Leader or Deputy role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of motor claims.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage priorities effectively.
  • Solid understanding of client expectations and protocols.
