TL;DR

Claims Handler CH2 (Legal): Managing a caseload of Public and Employers Liability claims with an accent on personal injury, product liability, and property damage. Focus on managing the claim lifecycle from inception to settlement pre-litigation.

Location: Hybrid (1 day in office, 4 days from home). Primary location is Liverpool Office; Leeds is also mentioned.

What you will do

  • Proactively manage a caseload of Public Liability, Employers Liability, Property Damage, and Product Liability claims up to £20,000.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date data within the case management system.
  • Ensure strict compliance with client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain high standards of productivity and quality service.
  • Collaborate with the Team Leader on additional departmental tasks.

Requirements

  • 12 months of relevant experience (or 6 months of experience combined with a law degree or equivalent).
  • Proven experience using the MOJ Claims Portal.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume workload independently via task management.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to customer service.
