What you will do

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to improve page load times and system throughput.
• Implement and manage Varnish caching strategies to enhance platform scalability.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize hosting solutions on Azure and configure CDNs.
• Translate business requirements into technical performance and scalability solutions.
• Support production incident triage, root cause analysis, and post-mortem reviews.
• Define SLAs, KPIs, and performance benchmarks for the B2C platform.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Magento (Magento 2 preferred) with a focus on performance optimization.
• Strong expertise in Varnish, Redis, and CDN configurations.
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and Magento architecture.
• Experience optimizing Magento in cloud environments, specifically Azure.
• Experience with performance profiling and debugging tools like New Relic.
• Must be able to work onsite in Northbrook, IL.

Nice to have

• Experience with Magento 2.4.x upgrades.
• Familiarity with headless commerce architectures and API-driven integrations.
• Knowledge of DevOps processes and CI/CD pipelines.
