What you will do
- Achieve annual financial goals and revenue growth for infectious disease and genetics product lines within the assigned territory.
- Lead the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting and qualifying to contract negotiation and go-live support.
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to meet or exceed sales quotas and product mix objectives.
- Conduct workflow analysis and present financial justifications to create customer value and commitment.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Molecular Applications Specialists and Strategic Accounts, to address customer needs.
- Maintain accurate account data, forecasts, and territory reports within Salesforce.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required (B.S. preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a healthcare-related field (diagnostics, pharmaceutical, or consulting).
- At least 3–5 years of combined sales and marketing experience (molecular diagnostics preferred).
- Ability to travel 70%+ of the time within the assigned territory.
- Strong negotiation, strategic thinking, and project management skills.
- Proven track record of building relationships with key opinion leaders and executive-level stakeholders.
