What you will do

• Lead the full post-training pipeline for LLMs, including supervised fine-tuning, preference optimization, and reinforcement learning.
• Design and implement advanced training paradigms such as DPO and GRPO.
• Develop domain-specific data recipes, curation strategies, and augmentation pipelines.
• Train specialized small models from scratch, including architecture selection and dataset construction.
• Build reward models and implement RLAIF closed-loop systems for alignment.
• Optimize inference efficiency and deploy models using frameworks like vLLM and SGLang.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of industry experience.
• Deep expertise in post-training pipelines and alignment techniques (DPO, GRPO, RL).
• Proven experience designing domain-specific data strategies and training specialized models from scratch.
• Experience deploying models in low-latency production environments using vLLM or SGLang.
• Must be based in or authorized to work in San Jose, California, USA.
