What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of ML/AI-driven features for the Notebooks team.
• Define and shape the long-term technical strategy for AI workflows and related product surfaces.
• Manage the full development cycle, from rapid prototyping and evaluation to production-ready scale.
• Develop robust agent systems, including retrieval, planning strategies, guardrails, and prompt management.
• Collaborate with other product leaders to integrate AI-powered workflows across the platform.
• Mentor engineering talent and guide the adoption of evolving AI best practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience with a proven track record as a technical lead.
• Experience leading large-scale AI/ML initiatives within a product-driven environment.
• Deep expertise in model deployment, training, fine-tuning, and evaluation.
• BS, MS, or PhD in a scientific field or equivalent professional experience.
• Must be based in New York, NY to support a hybrid work model.
