Location: Must be based in Mounds View, MN (On-site 4 days per week)
Salary: $175,200 - $262,800 USD

What you will do
- Lead the bedside monitor software organization, including internal engineers and external software vendors.
- Own multi-year product capability and release roadmaps, ensuring planning and execution within budgets.
- Directly manage a team of 5–8 engineers, focusing on performance management, coaching, and career development.
- Oversee complex programs including OS kernel upgrades, redesigned software capabilities, and new test automation frameworks.
- Drive initiatives to address hardware/software obsolescence while ensuring compliance with cybersecurity and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Hardware, Security, Systems, and Quality to ensure product continuity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 7+ years of technical work experience.
- Alternatively, an advanced STEM degree with 5 years of technical and 5 years of managerial experience.
- Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization.
Nice to have
- Experience in Med-Tech or as an embedded software leader/developer.
- Ability to manage geographically distributed software development teams.
- Familiarity with design controls, quality system regulations, and CAPA processes.
- Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management.
