Salary: $190k - $230k + equity

What you will do

• Provide legal guidance on corporate governance, employment law, data protection, and intellectual property rights.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, partnership agreements, and vendor contracts.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, credit risk procedures, and statutory requirements.
• Manage corporate governance and oversee the protection of patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
• Advise on funding rounds, equity plans, and other financial transactions.
• Collaborate with leadership to minimize legal risks and coordinate with external counsel.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as counsel in the financial industry.
• Minimum 2 years of big law experience (highly preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external senior-level executives.
• Must be able to work from the New York office four days per week.
