What you will do

• Administer merit scholarships, need-based grants, bursaries, and government-backed loan schemes.
• Develop and maintain financial aid policies in compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, supervise, and develop the financial aid team to ensure operational efficiency and high service standards.
• Collaborate with Admissions and Finance to use financial aid strategically for recruitment, yield, and retention.
• Maintain and optimize SIS and CRM integrations (e.g., Banner, Slate) to ensure data accuracy.
• Manage the financial aid budget, including monitoring expenditure and forecasting liabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in financial aid administration within a higher education setting.
• Strong knowledge of student finance regulations and government funding frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience managing and reporting on financial aid budgets.
• Proficiency with SIS and CRM systems such as Banner or Slate.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Higher Education Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Must be based in Rwanda or Mauritius
