What you will do

• Provide financial oversight for DRC, leading budgeting, forecasting, and donor financial reporting.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy.
• Strengthen internal controls and fraud prevention measures through regular spot checks and audits.
• Manage relationships with banks, regulators, and government stakeholders to support treasury operations.
• Lead and develop a pod of finance staff, establishing clear accountability and performance expectations.
• Collaborate with global teams to implement system improvements and automation using AI.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business.
• 5+ years of professional experience in accounting or finance with strong reporting skills.
• Fluency in English and French is required.
• Competence in spreadsheets and accounting software like Intacct or QuickBooks.
• Must be based in or able to work from Goma, DRC.
• Experience with OHADA accounting standards is preferred.
