The hirify.global (NRC) is an independent humanitarian organization helping people forced to flee, providing assistance and advocating for the rights of displaced populations.

What you will do

  • Manage financial aspects of the consortium as the Lead Agency, ensuring compliance with donor requirements and internal policies.
  • Consolidate financial reports, budgets, and fund requests from member agencies in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular compliance visits to member agencies to assess financial, HR, and logistics systems.
  • Maintain an effective internal control system to mitigate risks of fraud or misappropriation.
  • Organize and facilitate external and donor audits, ensuring all records meet international accounting standards.
  • Provide financial training to both finance and non-finance managers to strengthen consortium-wide compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
  • At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in a finance/accounting role within the International NGO sector.
  • Proven experience working with major international donors such as EU, USAID, DFID, or UN.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and accounting software.
  • Excellent command of English.
  • Ability to work in an insecure environment and manage complex, multi-partner projects.

Nice to have

  • Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or CA.
  • Previous experience in audit or financial assessment.
  • Knowledge of the South Sudan humanitarian context.
