What you will do

• Own the team's delivery predictability, quality, and overall effectiveness.
• Coach and grow a team of ten engineers, balancing the needs of senior contributors and junior staff.
• Shape day-to-day processes, feedback loops, and backlog prioritization.
• Partner with product and UX to manage scope and align work with company strategy.
• Represent the team's interests and visibility within the wider organization.
• Weigh in on technical decisions while empowering senior engineers to own the architecture.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in a software engineering leadership role.
• Strong engineering background spanning backend (Java, Python) and frontend (Vue.js, TypeScript).
• Fluency in English is required.
• Proven track record of managing team health, performance, and delivery.
• Experience with agile methodologies, prioritization, and backlog management.
• Ability to partner effectively across functions including product and UX.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with Java, Vue.js, or TypeScript.
• Experience working with SaaS products.
• Experience helping teams adopt AI in engineering practices.
