What you will do

• Provide exceptional service to brokers, managing referrals and writing complex business.
• Drive profitable growth of schemes in conjunction with Sector leads and the wider underwriting team.
• Develop and execute effective portfolio underwriting strategies to ensure sustained growth.
• Monitor new risks and exposures within chosen sectors to maintain a market-leading position.
• Manage relationships and take accountability for key strategic broker partners.
• Operate specifically within the Media, Entertainment, Property Owners, and Sport sectors.

Requirements

• Experience in schemes, delegated authority, or open market underwriting.
• Proven commercial underwriting experience, ideally within property, liability or combined business.
• Experience within the media sector or broader media & entertainment space is strongly preferred.
• Ability to make confident decisions in complex underwriting scenarios, including cases outside of authority.
• ACII qualification or active progression towards it.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills.
