TL;DR

Location: Hybrid (Liverpool or Sevenoaks) or Remote

Salary: £35,271 – £41,556

What you will do

  • Manage a portfolio of high-risk mitigation claims involving credit hire, personal injury, and property damage.
  • Validate all claims for indemnity and fraud.
  • Assess liability accurately and communicate decisions to relevant parties.
  • Perform quantum assessments and apply reserves according to company guidelines.
  • Act as a referral point and provide coaching and mentoring for less experienced handlers.
  • Collaborate with panel solicitors on litigated cases handled on a non-delegated basis.

Requirements

  • Level 3 Mitigation Handler qualification or equivalent experience in similar departments.
  • Significant experience in credit hire and/or personal injury claims.
  • Extensive working knowledge of the Pre-Action Protocol, Civil Procedure Rules, and costs.
  • Strong communication skills and commercial awareness of relevant case laws.
  • Must have at least one year remaining on a Graduate or Post-Study Work visa; no visa sponsorship is available.
