Focus on driving improvements across reporting systems, managing senior stakeholder relationships, and supporting methodology change activity.

What you will do

  • Lead the delivery of new business reporting metrics across IFRS and Solvency UK / Solvency II.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of actuarial analysts.
  • Review and challenge reporting outputs produced by Finance Central Services for Institutional Retirement.
  • Ensure reporting results, assumptions, policy data, and methodology are accurate and well-controlled.
  • Build relationships with PRT Pricing, Client Services, Planning & Analysis, and Technical Accounting.
  • Explain reporting results and key messages clearly to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Qualified Life Actuary (FIA / FFA, or equivalent).
  • Strong life insurance reporting experience, specifically across IFRS / IFRS 17 and Solvency UK / Solvency II.
  • Knowledge of bulk annuities, individual annuities, PRT or similar retirement products.
  • Experience managing or developing actuarial, finance, or reporting teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain technical results.
  • Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Hove, UK.
