What you will do

• Support the underwriting of sovereign risk, structured credit, political risk, project finance, and asset-backed transactions.
• Analyze transactions and assess credit and sovereign risk to ensure alignment with underwriting appetite.
• Contribute to the pricing and structuring of deals using analytical tools and frameworks.
• Prepare underwriting documentation, including financial modelling and risk summaries.
• Negotiate policy terms and wordings in collaboration with senior underwriters and legal teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with global banking clients, financial institutions, and brokers.

Requirements

• Experience in credit and political risk, or a relevant background in banking, structured finance, or reinsurance.
• Exposure to asset classes such as structured credit, project finance, or asset-backed finance.
• Strong analytical capability to review financial information and assess credit risk.
• Ability to translate complex analysis into structured underwriting recommendations.
• Strong communication skills and high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• A degree in finance, economics, or a related discipline is beneficial.
