What you will do

• Oversee and deliver monthly and quarterly financial processes for Business Units to ensure trial balance accuracy.
• Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts, identifying and resolving exceptions in a timely manner.
• Prepare and distribute monthly Lead Schedules with clear commentary on balance sheet positions.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes to enhance efficiency across the Finance Operations team.
• Manage governance tools and maintain evidence for controls, signoffs, and external audit requirements.
• Provide leadership and support to team members through regular check-ins and development discussions.

Requirements

• Strong technical accounting knowledge including ledger management and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Proven ability to manage and improve financial processes within a controlled environment.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical skills for financial performance commentary.
• Effective stakeholder management experience working with financial controllers and non-finance teams.
• Understanding of governance, risk, and control frameworks in a regulated environment.
• Progressing towards or holding a professional accounting qualification is desirable.
