TL;DR
Emerging Data Platform Technologies Architect (Biopharma/Cloud): Designing and implementing scalable, cloud-native data platforms with an accent on AI/ML integration and regulatory compliance. Location: Hybrid: Must be based in or near Bridgewater, NJ (in-person collaboration 2 days a week)
Salary: $164,000 – $213,000 Annual

What you will do
- Design and implement scalable, cloud-native data platforms using AWS, GCP, and Snowflake.
- Lead data engineering development, including ETL workflows leveraging Qlik Talend and Python.
- Develop AI capabilities and MLOps frameworks for advanced analytics and predictive modeling.
- Establish data governance, quality, and compliance frameworks following HIPAA, GxP, and GDPR standards.
- Create technology roadmaps aligned with R&D, clinical, and commercial analytics requirements.
- Optimize data ingestion and query performance to ensure cost-effective data processing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, or Technology.
- 10+ years of experience in data architecture, cloud computing, and data engineering.
- Expertise in Snowflake, Talend, Qlik, AWS, and GCP.
- Must have experience in biopharma, life sciences, or healthcare with knowledge of regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Spark.
Nice to have
- Snowflake, Talend, or GCP Professional Data Engineer certifications.
- Experience with commercial systems like Veeva CRM or Salesforce Health Cloud.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Qlik Sense.
