What you will do

• Partner with business leaders to audit manual processes and identify high-impact AI opportunities.
• Design, code, and deploy advanced AI systems including LLM applications, agentic workflows, and RAG.
• Lead and mentor a small, agile team of AI engineers while contributing directly to the codebase.
• Own the full product lifecycle from rapid prototyping to production-grade deployment.
• Translate complex operational bottlenecks into clear, scalable AI product features.
• Foster a culture of high-velocity shipping and technical excellence.

Requirements

• Must be based in Madrid or willing to work on-site 3 days per week.
• Proven experience shipping production-grade AI systems using frameworks like LangGraph or LlamaIndex.
• Strong software engineering background with proficiency in Python, APIs, and AWS.
• Ability to bridge the gap between non-technical stakeholders and engineering teams.
• Strong operational sense to visualize and streamline manual workflows.
• Experience in building and leading agile engineering teams.
