What you will do

• Translate complex requirements from ISA and IDW standards into structured, reproducible workflows.
• Define logic for software to analyze contracts and financial statements, such as lease accounting or revenue recognition.
• Design checks to safeguard auditor independence and ensure compliance with IDW PS 210.
• Ensure system outputs are structured for clean integration into working paper files in line with IDW PS 450.
• Represent the company externally at industry events and engage with regulators regarding audit technology.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of professional audit experience, ideally at a Big 4 or leading mid-market firm.
• Strong command of IDW PS, ISA, and HGB standards.
• Native or near-native fluency in German and English (C1+).
• Ability to map out complex decision trees and structured logic without needing to write code.
• Experience at the Prüfungsleiter level with a deep understanding of client responsibility and liability risk.
