What you will do

• Execute end-to-end in-house bookkeeping for international entities using DATEV Rechnungswesen.
• Lead the migration of accounting data and workflows from external providers to an internal DATEV environment.
• Manage data consolidation, intercompany billing, and reconciliations across multiple entities.
• Integrate finance tools like Yokoy with DATEV to automate P2P and expense workflows.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure timely financial closings, filings, and audits.

Requirements

• Proven experience in German entity bookkeeping (GmbH) using DATEV Rechnungswesen.
• Expertise in preparing VAT returns according to HGB and German VAT laws.
• Demonstrated success transitioning accounting from external bookkeepers to an in-house setup.
• Ability to manage intercompany invoices and multi-entity reconciliations.
• Must be based in Berlin for a full-time onsite role.
