What you will do

• Perform day-to-day accounting functions including journal entries, intercompany transactions, and account reconciliations.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes across global entities.
• Coordinate and reconcile intercompany accounts and ensure proper eliminations during consolidation.
• Assist with the consolidation of financial results in accordance with German GAAP (HGB).
• Collaborate with external auditors and internal stakeholders during audits and reviews.
• Support the development and implementation of global accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Mandatory: Strong proficiency in German GAAP (HGB) and other European local GAAPs.
• Mandatory: Fluent English.
• Degree in Accounting, Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across geographies.

Nice to have

• Experience with financial systems such as Datev and Lucanet.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools like Power Pivot Table (BI) and basic SQL knowledge.
• Experience with US GAAP.
