What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of specialists responsible for the end-to-end print publishing lifecycle.
• Ensure the reliability and performance of business-critical publishing systems and workflows.
• Manage incident response, service improvements, and operational change planning.
• Collaborate with Editorial, Advertising, and Technology stakeholders to align services with business needs.
• Drive the adoption of automation, monitoring, and AI-driven tools to enhance operational efficiency.
• Balance day-to-day production demands with long-term strategic service enhancements.

Requirements

• Must be based in London or able to work onsite 2-3 days per week.
• Proven experience leading operational, service delivery, or business-critical support teams.
• Strong track record of managing time-critical processes with immovable deadlines.
• Excellent people management, coaching, and mentoring skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities across technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience with service management, incident resolution, and operational risk assessment.

Nice to have

• Experience with print production, publishing operations, or media workflows.
• Background in working with cloud-hosted services (AWS) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted tools and workflow automation technologies.
