What you will do

• Perform automotive/industrial repair, diagnostics, and established test procedures for lift trucks.
• Design, fabricate, and build test fixtures, prototype parts, and test stands.
• Analyze and interpret test results to prepare summary reports and recommend technical actions.
• Lead and coordinate test equipment selection, calibration, setup, diagnostics, and teardown.
• Develop and refine test procedures and shop processes to improve vehicle development efficiency.
• Mentor junior technicians and provide technical consultation to engineers and external partners.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma required; Associate degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Experience: 5 to 10+ years of relevant mechanical or testing experience depending on level.
• Proficiency in welding, machining, and fabrication.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with vehicle, lift truck, or heavy equipment repair.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Experience with data acquisition systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• Experience with CAN systems, sensors, and vehicle communication protocols.
• Advanced troubleshooting of DC/AC electrical systems.
• Experience leading tests, mentoring others, or coordinating project activities.
