What you will do

• Lead the development of comprehensive test plans and procedures for static fires and environmental qualification.
• Design, commission, and operate test fixtures, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems.
• Execute static fire tests and environmental stress screening while maintaining strict safety standards.
• Perform real-time test monitoring, data reduction, and root-cause analysis for anomalies.
• Support flight test campaigns, including pre-flight checkout and telemetry monitoring.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building robust test capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Systems Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering test experience specifically for solid rocket motors.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible for ITAR-related authorizations.
• Hands-on experience with test instrumentation and data acquisition systems like LabVIEW or MATLAB.
• Working knowledge of safety protocols for energetic materials and high-pressure systems.
• Ability to travel up to 30% and lift over 50lbs.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Experience with hypersonic propulsion testing on DoD or NASA programs.
