What you will do

• Conduct supplier negotiations to secure optimal pricing, delivery, and quality terms.
• Implement and manage contracts to ensure performance and compliance.
• Monitor market trends and supplier capabilities to anticipate supply chain changes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business needs.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to direct commodities.
• Support the go-live process for the new ERP system.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid UK driving licence and UK passport for travel.
• Must be able to travel within the UK.
• Strong understanding of the aerospace raw material market.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management.

Nice to have

• Experience or knowledge within the aerospace industry.
• Understanding of computerized MRP systems.
