TL;DR

Group Director, Marketing Effectiveness & Intelligence (Marketing Analytics): Leading efforts in optimizing marketing performance and driving data-driven decision-making with an accent on measurement frameworks, ROI analysis, and C-Suite storytelling. Location: Hybrid (Average 4 days in office). Candidates must be based in Austin, TX; Costa Mesa, CA; or Seattle, WA.

Salary: $100,000 — $230,000 USD

What you will do

  • Act as a primary strategic partner embedded within client teams to optimize marketing investments and identify incremental growth opportunities.
  • Implement measurement hierarchy frameworks, KPIs, and attribution models (including MMM and LTV) to assess ROI across various channels.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into strategic narratives and visually impactful presentations for C-Suite executives.
  • Collaborate across Marketing, Sales, Product, Finance, and Data Science teams to foster a culture of data-driven accountability.
  • Lead initiatives to improve data quality and infrastructure while staying abreast of emerging technologies like AI/ML applications in marketing.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing analytics or business intelligence, with 3-5 years in a leadership/Group Director capacity.
  • Must be based in or able to work from Austin, Costa Mesa, or Seattle (Hybrid - 4 days in office).
  • Proven expertise in multi-touch attribution modeling, ROI analysis, MMM, and LTV calculations.
  • Proficiency with SQL, Python/R, GA4, Adobe Analytics, and CRM data (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree (MBA or MS) in a quantitative field.
  • Experience in client-facing internal consultancy or advisory roles.
  • Deep understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning concepts.
