What you will do

• Act as the primary technical interface for customers on schematic capture and PCB front-end flows.
• Propose technical solutions and best practices to address customer design challenges.
• Collaborate with R&D, Product Engineering, and Marketing to drive product improvements.
• Conduct technical demos, training sessions, and workshops for customers and partners.
• Debug complex schematic design issues, netlisting problems, and library inconsistencies.
• Create high-impact knowledge articles and tool adoption kits to increase customer self-sufficiency.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of relevant industry experience in Hardware Design Engineering, CAD, or application/technical support.
• Solid understanding of PCB design flows with hirify.global Allegro Design Entry HDL or OrCAD Capture.
• Knowledge of Product Life Management (PLM) systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with external customers and internal R&D teams.
• Must be based in or able to work from Cork, Ireland.

Nice to have

• Experience in high-speed and large-scale complex PCB design environments.
• Familiarity with the complete PCB design cycle and associated CAD tools.
• Exposure to TCL, SKILL, Python, or equivalent scripting languages.
• Proven experience in customer-facing technical roles.
