What you will do

• Oversee daily operations of journals and book permissions, ensuring prompt and customer-focused enquiry handling.
• Shape and deliver the global permissions licensing strategy to drive sustainable revenue growth and maximize portfolio value.
• Lead the evolution of licensing models to align with Open Access and digital content delivery.
• Line manage and train Rights teams based in London and Berlin.
• Build strategic internal and external partnerships to unlock new licensing opportunities and enhance performance.
• Collaborate with Legal, Editorial, Finance, and Anti-Piracy teams to resolve operational issues.

Requirements

• Degree-level education.
• High standard of Mathematics and English proficiency.
• Knowledge of copyright and other relevant Intellectual Property law.
• Understanding of the academic publishing business, including Open Access models.
• Must be based in London, UK.
