What you will do

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within federal departments and government-owned agencies.
  • Develop and execute territory strategies aligned with government mission goals and budget cycles.
  • Lead the full sales lifecycle from initial lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to deliver solution demonstrations and proposals.
  • Engage with systems integrators and government contractors to expand the sales pipeline.
  • Ensure compliance with federal procurement regulations and ethical guidelines.

Requirements

  • Australian citizenship is required for this role.
  • 5–10 years of experience in business development, account management, or enterprise sales.
  • At least 3 years of experience working directly with Australian Federal Government customers.
  • Strong understanding of public sector procurement and infrastructure resilience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
  • Professional communication skills for both technical and executive audiences.

Nice to have

  • Active Australian Government Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1, or NV2).
  • Experience in technology, infrastructure, or cyber-related sectors.
