What you will do
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within federal departments and government-owned agencies.
- Develop and execute territory strategies aligned with government mission goals and budget cycles.
- Lead the full sales lifecycle from initial lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
- Collaborate with technical teams to deliver solution demonstrations and proposals.
- Engage with systems integrators and government contractors to expand the sales pipeline.
- Ensure compliance with federal procurement regulations and ethical guidelines.
Requirements
- Australian citizenship is required for this role.
- 5–10 years of experience in business development, account management, or enterprise sales.
- At least 3 years of experience working directly with Australian Federal Government customers.
- Strong understanding of public sector procurement and infrastructure resilience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
- Professional communication skills for both technical and executive audiences.
Nice to have
- Active Australian Government Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1, or NV2).
- Experience in technology, infrastructure, or cyber-related sectors.
