What you will do

• Develop and maintain the long-term architecture strategy, target state, and roadmap for the overall Retail domain.
• Own the end-to-end Retail architecture across SAP S/4HANA and integrated systems.
• Provide strict architectural governance during the build phase to ensure alignment with clean-core standards and EA principles.
• Lead the technical validation of end-to-end Retail scenarios in SIT and UAT cycles.
• Act as the primary architectural authority for retail operations, guiding investment decisions and capability planning.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external systems to resolve build-related issues and manage dependencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of SAP Retail data structures, dependencies, and integration flows.
• Knowledge of clean-core, extensibility, and BTP integration capabilities.
• Experience managing both internal and external stakeholders.
• Must be based in Sydney or Melbourne to support a hybrid work model (3 days in office).

Nice to have

• Strong working knowledge of TOGAF or similar architecture frameworks.
• Familiarity with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) or Scrum.
• Certifications in SAP S/4HANA.
• Exposure to SAP BTP, AEM/Event Mesh, and Datasphere.
