What you will do

• Architect and evolve secure, scalable platform capabilities across multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
• Design and scale orchestration and infrastructure automation using Terraform and the Kubernetes ecosystem.
• Implement and enhance service mesh capabilities, including Istio and ingress controller patterns.
• Drive observability, capacity planning, and system performance analysis across production environments.
• Automate application and infrastructure deployments by integrating IaC into CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in on-call rotations and explore AI-driven tools to improve engineering outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience (or 6+ with a Master's).
• 3+ years of experience in infrastructure automation, configuration management, or container orchestration.
• Proven track record of operating Kubernetes-based infrastructure and cloud-native services in production.
• Proficiency with at least one major public cloud provider, networking, and security controls.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (E-Verify participant).

Nice to have

• Advanced proficiency with Terraform for large-scale cloud management.
• Experience with Istio and emerging patterns like ambient mesh.
• Familiarity with Crossplane, Terragrunt, CertManager, or Kubernetes load balancer controllers.
• Ability to support code in Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience maintaining Kubernetes manifests and YAML configurations.
