What you will do

• Build and evolve the internal developer platform, including CI/CD and release automation.
• Develop "golden paths" such as service templates, CLIs, and libraries to reduce engineering toil.
• Establish shared observability primitives (metrics/logs/traces) and standards to ensure services are production-ready.
• Design scalable and reusable CI pipelines to improve build reliability and reduce cycle time.
• Build core platform capabilities that simplify the running and scaling of services.
• Own systems end-to-end and maintain production health and reliability.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building production software in platform, devtools, or infrastructure.
• Strong coding skills in Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems and pipeline design.
• Practical experience with production observability (instrumentation, alerting, dashboards).
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern cloud infrastructure.
• Must be based in and work onsite in San Francisco.

Nice to have

• Experience with monorepos and large-scale CI performance work.
• Background in building internal platforms and developer portals.
• Infrastructure-as-code experience (e.g., Terraform).
• Security-minded approach to supply chain (provenance, secrets, least privilege).
• Experience applying AI-assisted tooling to enhance engineering effectiveness.
