Product Manager (HRTech): Owning the end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and execution for core product areas within an HR and payroll platform for the hourly workforce with an accent on customer discovery, hypothesis-driven development, and cross-functional collaboration. Location: Hybrid role requiring 1-3 days per week in-office in San Francisco/Menlo Park, CA, Lehi, UT, or Vancouver, BC.
Salary: $100,000–$170,000 (varies by location).

What you will do
- Define product vision, strategy, and north-star metrics aligned with company goals.
- Conduct deep customer research to identify pain points and market opportunities.
- Partner with Engineering, Design, and GTM teams to ship high-quality product features.
- Manage relationships with strategic external partners and job board ecosystems.
- Write detailed product specifications, user stories, and UX requirements.
- Drive alignment across executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- 5-7+ years of Product Management experience in SaaS, growth, or startup environments.
- Must be based in or able to commute to San Francisco, Lehi, or Vancouver.
- Proven track record of owning product initiatives from concept (0-1) through iteration (1-N).
- Experience utilizing AI tools to enhance team effectiveness.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and hypothesis-driven problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience in HR tech, payroll, scheduling, or workforce management.
- Background in hourly work industries like retail or hospitality.
- Experience working with distributed or offshore engineering teams.
- Familiarity with PLG motions and marketplace products.
