TL;DR

Account Manager (Food and Beverage): Managing new customer prospecting and existing account relationships to drive revenue and profit with an accent on sales funnel ownership, CRM reporting, and technical customer service. Focus on converting opportunities into Food and Beverage customers, forecasting sales, and coordinating cross-sell/upsell while resolving account conflicts.

What you will do

  • Prospect for new customers and manage existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue and profit targets.
  • Manage pricing, product mix, and execute cross-sell and upsell programs at existing accounts.
  • Identify and convert new sales opportunities into Food and Beverage customers; respond to customer proposal requests in the territory.
  • Own the sales funnel and provide CRM reporting on opportunities, performance, needs, and risks.
  • Educate customers on new product developments and application advances; track account business performance at least monthly.
  • Define sales forecasts, manage account conflicts, and coordinate resources (leadership support, promotions, communications) to grow accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably Engineering or Chemistry).
  • Strong sales experience closing new and existing customer opportunities and managing technical customer service.
  • Experience using sales admin and CRM tools; strong computer literacy with Microsoft Office.
  • Proficient English (verbal and written) and strong communication skills to convey complex information to a broad audience.
  • Driving experience is a must.
  • Teamwork and good interpersonal skills.
