Managing Consultant - Healthcare Analytics

Location: Hybrid, based in a BRG office in Boston, Chicago, Washington, DC, Los Angeles, New York, Nashville, or Tampa; working with colleagues in the office three to four days per week on average. Candidates must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

Salary: $140,000–$185,000 for Managing Consultant; $160,000–$225,000 for Senior Managing Consultant.

What you will do

• Plan and manage small to medium-sized client engagements and discrete segments of larger projects.
• Delegate assignments to junior staff, provide instructions, monitor progress, and review work for completeness and accuracy.
• Develop analyses and financial models using transactional and/or financial data.
• Design client deliverables and contribute to expert reports; present results and work product to clients.
• Manage client relationships, prioritize assignments, and meet project goals and deadlines.
• Contribute to business development, practice meetings, staff training, recruiting, and the use of analytical software and computer models.

Requirements

• BS/BA focused on quantitative analytics, including accounting, finance, economics, information systems, mathematics, or a related field.
• 6+ years of professional experience in data analytics.
• At least 2 years of experience supervising and managing team members in a team environment.
• Advanced technical ability to independently execute complex data analytics in either SQL or R.
• Interest in growing technical skills and training others.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and project management abilities.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in healthcare or litigation consulting.
• Experience in disputes and investigations or healthcare research and/or analysis.
• Proficiency in additional programming languages such as Python, STATA, or SAS.
