Management Consulting Senior Associate, Life Sciences Advisory

Location: Raleigh, United States; other locations include Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, and Boston. Travel of 25–50% or more is required.

Salary: $94,400–$178,800 per year, plus discretionary performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Execute consulting engagements for pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients across Gross-to-Net revenue analytics, government pricing, contract valuation, compliance, and Fair Market Value analysis.
• Develop and implement market access, pricing, utilization management, and price reporting strategies.
• Model government price points, including Average Manufacturer Price, Best Price, Unit Rebate Amount, Average Sales Price, and non-Federal Average Manufacturer Price.
• Identify gaps in Managed Markets, Finance, and Medical Affairs functions against industry standards, statutory requirements, and strategic initiatives.
• Use data analytics and financial modeling to evaluate client financial data and assess commercial, government, and distribution contract impacts.
• Communicate with engagement teams, client employees, and C-suite stakeholders while building long-term client relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 2 years of professional consulting or relevant industry experience.
• Strong critical thinking, business process mapping, data analysis, project management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication, client service, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in ambiguous situations with strong attention to detail.
• Willingness and ability to travel 25–50% or more.

Nice to have

• Degree in business, finance, accounting, engineering, supply chain, economics, or a science-related field.
• Experience communicating with executive-level stakeholders.
• Biopharma or life sciences industry experience.
